Since I am type 2 diabetic (controlled though-especially since I have started with a exercise program) I realize the IMPORTANCE of snacks, however a lot of days I go too long between eating and forget snacks. Want to try to get in the habit of eating them! My new go-to snack? Dry roasted edamame, tasty, high protein, fills you up ! Enjoy fruit of course, also almonds,allow myself a sweet something VERY SELDOM! Any suggestions from any of you of something different I can try? I am using protein shakes more often and can tell that they are instrumental in my recent losses, along with plenty of water and exercise.
