Where the heck is Mags?!

Sunday, March 18, 2012

Wow...I haven’t posted a blog since NYE....time for an update, methinks!

So, life has been incredibly busy and wonderful these last few months... I’ve definitely been thriving thus far in 2012! What’s been going on, you ask? Well....

-I met an amazing guy at the end of 2011, and we’re doing wonderfully...I met his family this weekend and I’m constantly amazed at how easy it is to be with him. I never realized it could be so easy to be with someone, and with my ex, I couldn’t ever feel entirely comfortable around his parents. I met my guy’s parents AND grandparents this weekend, and felt like I’d known them forever.

-My Jetta died in January, and I bought my first a) brand new, b) dealership, c) independently purchased car...a Mazda3, which is awesome!!

-I’ve made some progress on my 2012 goals...I got up north to visit my friend at the beginning of the month, I’ve made about 3 new recipes, and I just completed W2 of C25K! I also have the procedure for my capillaries booked for the first week of April; had the consult last week.

-We’ve finally gotten another marketing specialist on my team. My workload got much easier to handle mid-February when she joined us, which means that...

-I’m finally back to the activity level I maintained before starting this job. I’m working out at least 4 times a week, and I’m slowly reintroducing weight training...I'm running, zumba-ing, yoga-ing, and I've just started boxing..I just need to get my eating back on track now! Because...

-I’m sitting at about 150 right now...I haven’t gotten any closer to my goal yet this year, but I’m feeling pretty good about myself overall. Once I’ve got all the elements back together, I should be fine. I forgot how much restaurant food you eat early in a relationship! We’ve got similar health and wellness goals, though, so we’re working together to eat better now.

-I still love my apartment, and I’ve already started enjoying my patio...my parents bought me a BBQ, so I’m excited to start grilling!

I just feel happy, relaxed and fulfilled in life this year. It’s refreshing. It’s invigorating. And it’s fun! I’m sorry I’m not more present online, but unfortunately something’s gotta give, and this is it right now.

Hope you’re all well! Update me on your lives, I *do* miss you guys!!

Cheers,

Mags

MAGSyyyy I miss you so much. You are always in the back of my mind. I am so happy for you, you sound so relaxed and I LOVE IT.

New guy sounds great, I wish you both nothing but the best, being comfortable around him has already insured this is a great relationship.

If you are happy, and you want to keep working on yourself, it will go much easier than if you weren't. 150 aint that bad and I know you have it in you to keep going. Reading your update reminded me that I gotta do one quite soon.

So cool about the job and the workload, I have days when I want to come home and lay in bed from all the exhaustion of the typical work load, can't wait till it is mid april when the new girl starts..

talk soon and wish you all the best.
