Week 9

Spring Break is over. So sad. It always goes by so fast. I am proud of my progress this week though. I had a good week. I got a lot of spring cleaning done…even if you can’t tell from the looks of our house! My family came up for a visit and we had some good times. My sister, brother, and kids joined me at the zoo on Thursday and that was a lot of fun exercise! The weather was nice and we were able to get there early enough to be gone before the crowd hit. We stopped in at Miranda Lambert’s store in her home town, which was kind of neat. I have driven by a million times but never stopped. Friday my sister, husband, and daughter went bowling and out for dinner while my parents watched this little one. My daughter was so excited! Saturday we celebrated my son’s one year birthday and had both my in-laws and my family up for a little party. It was good. I will admit that I am glad that it is over though. Parties stress me out. And here we are today, Sunday. Today is my son’s actual birthday. It is hard to believe that he is a year. In some ways, he feels older (like he’s always been here) and in other ways he feels younger (how can a year have already passed?)! He is the sweetest little boy though. In the midst of everything, I got in some good workouts and a ton of water! I am very pleased and ready to move to tackle my eating habits. It is time! I still have my baby weight after a year, but next year will be another story. I have the end in mind and know what I am working for! I can do this!

So last week’s goals were:
1. 8 cups of water a day – MET!!
2. Workouts totaling 120 minutes – MET!! 146 minutes
3. 5KMW week 8 – MET!!
4. Spring Cleaning! – MET!!

Successful week, eh?! WooHoo!!

Miles covered this week: 8.34
March Miles: 19.05/25

Goals for this week:
1. 8 cups of water a day
2. Workouts totaling 120 minutes
3. 5KMW week 9
4. No eating out (w/exception of date night)

I was going to increase my workout minutes, but this week will hold a lot of new changes and challenges and I don’t want to overdo it. I want to see how this week goes and then go from there. I am loving my jogging/walking workouts and don’t want to jeopardize my progress by moving too fast and doing too much at one time.

I am sad that this week is over. It has been nice jogging in the mornings and hanging out with my family. If we don’t get back to school, we can’t move on and get to summer though! I am anxious to try and fit the P90X in during summer. It is just so time consuming. We’ll see.

To wrap this up, last week was great and I hope this week continues on that note!!
