Last week's D&A Team challenge was a first for me in many ways: my first challenge, my first community activity, my first post, my first blog. It was truly a learning experience ... one made a lot easier with the help and encouragement of Safaribabe (leader of the challenges on D&A Team). Tory, thank you so much!
The most significant problem I had last week was fatigue. When I did my routine things and added on the challenge tasks, I didn't plan my time well and became very inefficient climbing the learning curve. However, I was determined to complete the challenge 100%, and the price was sleep deprevation. By the end of the week, I completed the challenge 100%, but I couldn't keep that schedule for this week's challenge.
So, no 100% this week! It was a bitter pill to swallow, but I decided to work smarter instead of working harder and have more fun along the way. In the current challenge there are three parts to be done each day: A- Nutrition, B-Fitness, and C-Wellness. I routinely do all the items under A every day and a couple of C items every day also. The B items are a weak area for me. So, I caught up on my rest Monday and Tuesday and then figured out an early morning exercise routine that set me up for success for the rest of the week. Also, I chose to challenge myself by electing to do this blog since writing doesn't come easy for me and to spread spark love by commenting on sparkpages, etc. because meeting people is a toughie. I'm still on the learning curve this week, but it's not nearly as steep as it was last week and I'm continuing to enjoying the challenge. Thanks again, Tory!
