Lesson 56: Squash procrastination with effective time management 03/17/2012

"Nothing is so fatiguing as the eternal hanging on of an uncompleted task."~William James

An excellent food for thought article if you're looking for ways to maximize your 24 hours. I'm loving all of them, but my focus is on:

#4- Put first things first. There's a lot of activities that may be nice to do, but are not necessary at the present time.

#5 -Time Box your Tasks. I have to agree with the article. It seems the more time I give myself to do something, the longer it takes me to do it and I could get more done if, for those areas were be time boxed.

#10 -Utilize Time Pockets.

I am pretty good at getting things done in a timely manner. I can get anything done if I set my mind to it! But my soon to be ex-husband, well, now that is a different story! He would spend 3 to 4 hours just making a list, then it would be another 2 to 3 hours to figure out which one he should do first, by then it was time for him to go to sleep! It drives me nuts! As Larry would say, Get'er done! Hope you have a great night!
