My energy levels have been back up this week. I tend to forget how much Todd really does around the house and with the kids until he is gone for an entire week. Weight day today. Down 1 lb. Was hoping it would be more, but I will take it. Have a pretty good idea what I need to do to keep it up - I am tracking my food better, but now I need to take that extra few minutes and make sure I measure everything accurately. I am pretty good at getting close just by looking but I want to make sure.
1. Cardio - I managed to get in cardio every day this week. That is a huge accomplishment. It helps that there is such nice weather and sunshine to boost my spirits. I am so glad I found the treadmill downstairs at work. It has done wonders to my motivation. I wouldn't say I am in love with running,but I am enjoy it. I have a set goal and date that I need to stick with so this is great for now. I miss my Turbo Jam though.
2. ST - What can I say? I did my three days and that is all. I am really hoping that I will learn to love it. I don't mind the TJ workouts, but there still is along way to go for me.
3. Me Time - This week I really focused on not just parking my butt in the chair and watching the TV. Every night it seemed was a bath night, but I would just soak and read my book. Don't know when the last time I finished a novel was. Granted it wasn't a really hard read or anything, but it was just for me and my mellow time. Thinking of getting some cardio in and walking to the library a few blocks away to go find another book or two.
Overall, I would say the week was pretty good. Lost another pound, tracked food most days, and got in tons of cardio. Next week I will really be focusing in on my ST. I know the benefits of doing it, I just have to convince myself it is true. Put it to the test I guess.
