I started WII fit last weekend. It measures your BMI as well as your weight. It was hysterical watching my MII character go from "average" to rolly-polly! My BMI, currently 31.1, is considered obese. I've know for quite some time that I'm obese. I started questioning what all these numbers really mean. This lead me to do research on the internet.
To be considered "overweight", my BMI has to be 29.9 or lower. I'm not to far off from that. Sorta. THEN, I started thinking what is my ideal weight to be considered overweight. I played around with the calculators to figure out exactly what that weight should be.
All of these numbers are going around in my head.... CALORIES, CARBS, FAT, PROTEIN, POUNDS, BMI, SODIUM, AGE.... Well, honestly, age is a big number right now because all of those other numbers are suppose to be different.
So many people say it's NOT suppose to be about the numbers, but if we don't watch certain numbers, like the ones going in, then the ones on the scale are going to stay higher.
Here is my new goal: to be overweight. Never thought I'd say that!!!!
