Friday cold

Friday, March 16, 2012

Our weather changed over the last 48 hours, in fact last week at this time it was very warm. Today's high was 55. I got up to get to my chiropractor's appointment at 10am, then went to Costco. It was lightly sprinkling but had stopped by the time I got home. I took Phred out for a walk because it was suppose to rain. The weathermen now say rain tonight and through the rest of the weekend. Our Vette run was cancel because the area we were heading to in San Diego county Julian is at the 3,500 ft. level and they said it might lightly snow. Vettes don't do well in the snow or heavy rains, at least the old ones don't. lol That's all folks.

Guess I am a bit late on this one, Teri! Sorry your vette run got cancelled, hope you were able to make it up!

We had lots of rain the 19th, through that night and into the morning of the 20th! For Saint Patricks day, we were camping so maybe that is the reason I missed your blog, though I DID have my laptop with me! emoticon emoticon

Teri, it's actually warmer here in northwest Indiana than it is in Anaheim. We have been having record warmth (high 70s). I'm not looking forward to the return to normal temperatures. I'll just enjoy it while I can!

Sorry about the Vette run :( Our weather has been whacked out too, much like MN there, same thing -worried about perennials being dead due to lack of snow cover.
Hope you can find something to do to keep you occupied this weekend!

We are doing just the opposite here. Temps will be close to 90 tomorrow and over the weekend, in the 90's. A cold front i coming through on Tues. and the high will only be 82 :):)D I just chuckle at the terminology here, especially being from MN. There is a chance of reaching 90 there tomorrow and that would shatter the old record of 84. This has been an unheard of winter for MN. Essentially no snow and minimal rain since August. When we get home, we are going to have to water everything and hope we haven't lost our perennial bed due to the drought.

Take care and don't get too chilled. I know a cold rain is miserable. Sending you good thoughts of good weather!!
