Things are finally looking up!

Friday, March 16, 2012

Hey Sparkies!!

Finally things are looking up. I felt overly-self absorbed with negativity this last week or two and it took over everything. But things are finally turning around.

I made a commitment to exercise today by walking to and from Practicum. That is a great start considering the weather can't make up its mind (snow, rail, hail, sun, name it we had it).

Granted my nutrition was off a bit, I am starting small, which is better then remaining stuck.

Another positive!!! I am demolishing some of that homework tonight!!! If i can do all of the mini assignments tonight I can focus on the difficult things tomorrow.

Since Zumba is closed during Spring Break, I am making other exercise arrangements for tomorrow. A walk and body rock!

Thanks for all of the support the last few weeks!

Have a great Friday!!

    Hey There,

We haven't "met" before, but your blog post came up, and I was caught by your comments about negativity.

Funny, but I have been learning that this is something the Dalai Lama talks about. I think he'd tell you that you can learn to just "be with" negativity. What might feel "negative" can start to seem like just "what is." And then it stops feeling as important whether something changes or not. Bad can transform at the blink of an eye....just like you are finding out...8-) And suddenly it all feels doable and manageable again!

I'm impressed, you seem to be getting yourself into that perspective all on your own. I hope you keep it up!
