So... I went to the doctor today...

... I just wanted to see my numbers.

I knew I had lost weight - and their scale was much more friendly to me than it has been in the past several years. It said I had lost 27 pounds since my last visit. BP went from 140/80 to 120/86. I should have asked what would make the bottom one go up?

Took a cholesterol test so I won't know that until probably Monday. But I think I probably passed emoticon

Oh I should add, that I wore a pair of capris that I could not fit over my fat @$$ last summer. The summer before when I bought them, they were pretty tight and I couldn't wear them much comfortably. Eventually I quit trying. So last summer when I dug them out of the drawer, fat chance emoticon of wearing them at all. Today, they went right on and zipped right up. I didnt have to suck it in, I didnt have to lie on the bed, I didnt have to wiggle in or out of them. It was fantastic! emoticon

That is such an awesome feeling that you're finally comfortably wearing clothes now that months ago didn't fit. You're really doing so well and I'm happy for your WL success.

Way to go! I used to take 2 blood pressure meds and 1 for cholesterol. As of my Dr appointment in early January, I am completely off all meds. My BP and cholesterol are fine. I am sure that yours is or will be too. Don't worry too much about that BP reading.
Your BP fluctuates a lot during the course of a day. Most people get a higher reading at the Dr's office anyway. It's called white coat syndrome. If you have, or can afford it, you should invest in a BP cuff. You can get them at the drug store now, and they aren't too expensive. The best way to keep a check on it is to take the reading when you first get up in the morning, before you begin moving around a lot. It's very easy to learn how to do it.
Fitting into smaller sizes is a real blast, too. Going into my closet is like going shopping. I'm glad I'm a bit of a pack rat and kept some of my too small clothes.
It was funny, the other day, I received my tee shirt from Transformation Nation in the mail. I had ordered a 2X size. When I hold it up, it looks enormous (I now fit into a large).
Just keep remembering that nothing tastes as good as you feel about your new self.
Keep up the great work you have been doing. Having a healthy and fit body is worth all of the effort you put into it. Nobody wants to become a fat sickly old woman who is dependent on other people for everything. Enjoy yourself-dance, move!
