Weekly Update Blog

I have worked so hard this week. I have been hungry so I pushed myself to my calorie limit. I have some water weight gain this week so I am worried about weigh in Monday. I have been drinking a lot of water to help this. I hope it works!

emoticonI am so close to my 100 pounds lost goal. I am not sure if I will make it this week but I am still going to try.

emoticonI am also looking into other exercise ideas. If you have any please share with me.
emoticonStuff I do now: Bike (inside and outside), elliptical, running intervals, walking, exercise videos…

emoticonStuff I am thinking about trying: Kettle bells, hula hoop, rollerblading and ????

emoticon emoticonI would appreciate any exercise ideas! I need them cheapo though… emoticon emoticon

I plan to try to get a kettle bell today or make one :)

I just added lap swimming last week and it has been nice to do something besides walking. I am still afraid of any kind of jogging or running on my knee so swimming for me has been a great alternative. Not cheap though if you don't already have a membership with a pool.

My new schedule for this week is Mon & Fri - lap swimming, Tues & Thurs & Sat - walking, Wed - maybe Muscle Pump if I get up the nerve to go, Sunday is a float do whatever I feel like day.

I have found I am not a big fan of videos but will do one if there is no other option.

Can't wait to see your 100 lb blog!!! emoticon

Never cease to inspire! You are amazing! I'm back at it...working the 5% challenge once again. Really going to try to hit my 5% goal this time. It's almost 15lbs in 8 wks, but the harder I work, the closed I will get...if not hitting it!!!

You must do a before 100 and after 100 pic...I love seeing the transformations!

ions! I will be keeping my eyes open for the 100 lb blog!!!

One of my son's wants us to play kickball. I think that is a great idea. Lots of running and kicking! We have a baseball field in our neighborhood. Maybe we can get a kids vs. adults game going?

I'm with ya on the veggies...my salads with dinner alone are usually 3-4 servings...

I want a kettleball too...was going to make it a reward when I can hit 140 again...I'm with Jacque on the basketball...or volleyball even just volleying back and forth...the leg workout WOW...

    Thanks everyone!

I have water weight this week. emoticon

So the 100 pound goal may have to wait a week. We will see what weigh in brings!

My walmart did not have inexpensive kettle bells. I am starting to think everything is expensive where i live. :)

    I love the exercise ideas!!

Thanks everyone!! Maybe I can dribble a basketball in the driveway. I used to play when I was a kid.

I was also thinking of taking the kids to do activites like mini golf, bowling, skating, bating cages etc.

Any activty is better than nothing!

What about playing a bit of footy (soccer) or basketball or tennis with the boys? If you have the balls (oo-er) and racquets, that could be fun. ANd let me tell you, even just dribbling a basketball around gets my heart rate going, even if I just walk quickly. Can't wait to see you get to 100!

You are so inspiring!!! WAY TO GO!! I got a kettle bell for Christmas and haven't tried it yet. It did come with a dvd workout though. I love weights and strength so that is not my problem.....I hate cardio and I admire you for running. I am not a runner and have no desire to be one. Congrats in advance on 100lbs....I know you will make it! Rock on and keep inspiring!

I want to say more and will later but wanted to quickly say that if you go to Bob Harper's site, all his DVD's are 5 bucks. There is an awesome kettle bell DVD. Plus a cardio with kettle bell DVD. Our Walmart sells kettle bells for around 5-6 bucks. You'd only need one to start. :)

I eat several servings of veggies at each meal. And I add in fruits when I can (I don't care for fruit much)

Since I have a larger serving of steamed veggies sometimes my serving equals 2 or 3.

Wow! You already do so much-there are Zumba routines on youtube-if you put them back to back in your favorites you would get a complete workout. That was the only kind of exercise you didn't have listed. Wow-6-7 Freggies per day! What do you eat?

Spark On! You Definitely Got This! emoticon
