So I finally decided that the weight wasn't going to come off just because I wish it away. So I decided to rededicate myself to my weight loss plan. Today marks day three, and all is well. It hasn't been as hard to get back into the swing of things as I thought it would be. The real test will be in the coming days when I will be out socializing with others. I will just have to stick to my guns and not indulge in the not so healthy food options.
I have been walking 2 miles per day, using my Leslie Sansone DVD and I can tell that I am out of shape. My hips and thighs hurt something awful. But I am going to keep pushing through. After 3 consecutive days of walking, I feel like my legs can stand to do an additional mile, but I don't think my back is up for the challenge. So I will stick with the 2 miles for now.
I was in Wal-Mart last night and I was looking at the fitness DVDs. There were a few that caught my eye. But I have several DVDs already that I have not opened. SO I have decided to place myself on a "no buy" restriction until after I have successfully used all of the DVDs that I currently own. This is going to be really hard for me because I love to but workout DVDs but there is no sense in buying new ones, when I have plenty to use.
I just need to formulate a plan of attack and make it happen.
