Ready and Set to GO for the Spring 5% Challenge

I've weighed and set my goals--we don't post weight until Saturday morning, but believe me, I won't lose any more by then. During the challenge I will be exercising and tracking like mad to lose 4 lbs. -- 2 lbs back to goal and a 2 lb cushion.

4 lousy, little lbs, you say! Well, let me remind you that I'm 66 years old, which I tend to forget myself, except for my slow-almost-dead metabolism.:) Fortunately, I'm blessed with good health and great energy. And I'll be using it. If the last challenge is any indication, I'll be lucky to average the 1/2 lb loss necessary to lose the 4 lbs in 8 weeks.

No, let's revise that. I WILL lose the 4 lbs and continue exercising this time to keep it off. I also took my measurements today and had to note a few more inches gained, reflected as well in my slightly elevated body fat level. The challenge will get me firmed and toned back up.

Ready to get it ON! Rollin' in the Deep!

    4 pounds, eh? I think we should do more...maybe look at inches to lose, or days of stretching, ST, or something else? C'mon, let's really go after this one...!!!!

    I know exactly what you mean! At 54, menopausal, lack of sleep, etc. the pounds are staying put no matter what! But I am going to tackle the challenge, do my best and see what I can learn from others!!! Good luck on the challenge!
