Today was Week 1 Day 2 of my training. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first, but I really wanted to try something new and I had been playing around with little jogs on the treadmill every so often, just to see where I was at. But I really have enjoyed the 2 days of wogging (walk/jogging) that I've been doing. Plus, it seriously burns WAY more calories than just walking! But also since it's been so nice out, I've been walking to the park that's about a 3.5 to 4 minute walk away from my house and wogging on the track there. It is just beautiful outside and exercising outside allows me to enjoy it even more! This morning I got to see the sun come over the trees and it was gorgeous! Unfortunately with 2 little ones I may not always get to go to the park (if hubby can't keep the kiddos for whatever reason) and I will have to use the treadmill, but I think I like wogging outside better! Of course that may change come the middle of summer when it's so hot outside that even standing is uncomfortable!
On another note, I use my phone (HTC Evo Shift) to listen to music and track my miles/time/pace while I wog. Currently I have to hold it in my hand while wogging, but today I kept getting tangled up in the earphone cord...anyone have any ideas how to help that? Or does anyone know of an armband for the HTC Evo Shift??
