TUESDAY ANOTHER WONDERFUL DAY

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

After such a wonderful day Sunday, and by the way, all 600 of those young people were from one church. Can you imagine. It is a missionary church and they send people out all over the world, young and old alike.

Well Tuesday, I went out to eat again and the girls soft ball team was there. They were so nice and polite and even helped me scoop my ice cream ( I know it is a no no but it was a very small scoop)

Afterwards I went over to one of the sponsors or coaches and we introduced ourselves. I told her How nice they were. When I asked them who was the best player one young lady said "All of us". I said that is what a team is. So I was talking to the lady about that and we got to talking, the kids got to cheering and I gave a 10 minute talk right in the restaurant.

We hear about all the bad things the young people do. We need to hear about the good things people do.

Well, the devil got mad again and when I got home I got sick and was worn out Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday. Am feeling much better.

One thing I know, no matter our age God isn't through with us yet. As long as He has us here He has a purpose for our lives and we must take care of these bodies so we can fulfill that purpose.

Cheering for others on our team is so important! And letting them know we are all in this together! Onward to healthy choices, my friend! You are such a blessing!

You are so right Irene. As long as we have breath left in us we are usable to our Lord just so long as we are obedient when we hear Him and you are.

I don't like that when you get attacked with not feeling well in your body because it keeps us from being at our best and functioning to the best of our ability.

But, thanks be to Jesus He has healed us all all the time and makes us strong and healthy and living long satisfied lives.

You are such an inspiration to me with spreading the word of God.

Yes, there is much more good things that younger people are doing then the bad that is always being reported on.

Have a great week with you feeling better.

Sometimes being sick is just being sick, and the message is that we are all just like everybody else. My faith in God helps me through the bad times but doesn't protect me from them.

I love the thought of you surrounded by those young softball girls and them cheering you as you encouraged and shared your wisdom with them!

You are so right about all the bad things we hear about our younger generations, and some of them with bad behavior and language that I see at the malls and such do make me cringe sometimes, but there are a LOT of good kids out there!
Awesome that you got to touch each others' lives like that!
Then the enemy tried to discourage you and you saw his tactics for what they were and overcame!

I have always felt God is never through with us as long as we exist on this earth. You have blessed a number of lives, but I'm guessing your tummy just didn't like one of the dishes very well. I believe all foods are acceptable (although some in more moderation than others). You're doing God's work beautifully.

This reminds me of what my pastor's wife says about her trips with the youth group down into Mexico to build a house for a family that can't afford their own house. She has been very happy that repeatedly people along their route to Mexico compliment her on the behavior of the youth group and what a witness they make for Jesus!
