I have been not worrying to much about the carbs when I discovered that I was getting about 60 grams of fiber. I eat a lot of beans, fruits, nuts, vegetables. I hardly eat any grains except oatmeal.
I was on a "diet" a long time ago that allowed us to subtract fiber from carbohydrates. This time I am not on a "diet" I am changing my eating patterns, I am allowing myself to have whatever I want I just track it all. Nothing is "off limits". Strangely enough, I really don't want all the so called junk food I use to eat. I am on the vegan challenge this month though and I am enjoying. I keep telling myself that I can have whatever I want, just not all at once. LOL Nothing is going to leave the planet. If I have eaten everything I can eat for one day, then another day will come. Usually the "craving" passes and I don't want whatever it was.
