Hallelujah, the sciatic pain is gone! I cannot express how wonderful it is to be rid of that pain. I feel like a whole new person. I'll be starting PT next week for four weeks because my back and core are very weak from lack of use over the past few years. Once I'm able to get moving again it will be time to get rid of this weight I've been carrying around way too long. I don't need my other knee or my hips to give out so I will do whatever it is to keep them happy.

Thanks for all the kind notes and messages of support. It meant a lot and I'll get back to each and every one of you. Right now though, I'm off to have a mani-pedi and some much needed pampering.

So glad you're feeling great, I get sciatica and piriformis flare-ups from time to time and know just how painful they can be.
The mani-pedicure sounds so relaxing...enjoy! emoticon

Glad to hear it was worth it. I"m not pain free yet-still doing PT to build up the back muscles so I can walk without the walker. And I have some unexplained swelling in my legs that they hope will resolve once I'm moving more. I also have to get rid of some weight. But all in all, feeling better too!
