I estimated that I will burn 1500 calories a week and then I saw the average calories I should eat and didn't like the number.
So my plan is to burn more, so I can eat more!! Of course, it is mostly healthy food but I am really all over the place each day with calories. Some days, I am full at 1300 and other days, I can eat 2200. I try to listen to my body.
I have really been challenged with burning calories since I quit my gym membership last month. But I can't use that as an excuse.
So, yesterday I burned 662 calories and today 500 calories. If I can keep up with burning 2000 calories a week. I should be in a good place with calories in and calories out.
Yoga - once a week, plus yoga moves while watching tv
Running - decided to do another full marathon on April 21st. I need to start a serious running schedule.
Ripped in with by Jillian Michael DVD - 2-3 times a week or some type of strength training
Tennis - once a week. joined a spring tennis league. Unfortunately, when you aren't good it doesn't burn a lot calories but it fun.
Biking - very casually for now - once a week. This doesn't burn may calories so more recreational than exercise
swimming - I need to sign up at the YWCA before the challenge begins so I can swim once a week. I get really exhausted from swimming laps because I don't have my breathing down so I image I will only do laps for about 20 minutes.
I think the bottom line, my running will have to carry my 2000 calories a week.
