Hard work out.

So, as part of our commitment to being a healthier family my son and I have signed up for martial arts classes. Our package includes 2 classes a week plus the fitness class for weight loss/conditioning. Tonight, we did our first class and what a shock it was to realize how hard this class is going to work us.
We were sweating, out of breath, and I believe a few oaths left under my breath as I had to push the weighted, kicking stand. But, what I did realize was that this was the first night of a change for my son and I. I hope it is a bigger change than either or I can predict at this time. My son is thin and takes this for granted, so my hope is that this keeps on track to building lifelong, healthy habits.
