what's meant to be will always find a way...

So I am wondering if everyone else on this side of the U.S. is having unseasonably warm temps....I love it!

Yesterday I said i was resting but not so much..my car died...the bf was out on his motorcycle in the nice weather..my car died...I had to go get Kodi from the after school program because if you don't by a certain time..you have to pay..by the minute..so I had a nice BRISK 1.5ish mile walk....

I got a call from the job I had applied for last month....and a job offer. I'm very happy. Then a bunch of things came down on me..like....do they have a limited benefits package (if I don't have benefits or I have a lapse in coverage..no one else will pick me up with my pre-existing heart condition) Also, if they are gonna pay me the same or less as my job now..I will not take it because..it's a farther distance...so it would make no sense. So I'm going down there tomorrow to fill out some forms and I'll ask all these questions....I'm hearing different things about the pay rate from girls I know that work at different clinic locations...who knows. I was too nervous/excited when she called to think of this stuff and she didn't bring it up.....oh my.

What I've learned through all this is ..logic matters..and ..what's meant to be will be...(I already knew this...) I'll keep you all posted..thanks so much for the encouragement ..I do appreciate it!

This morning I did the Body Rock "fat slaughter" workout...I loved it...(it's an older one)
I did 2 rounds each exercise 50/10
www.bodyrock.tv/2010/02/
04/fat-slaughter-workout/

1. Touch wall squats L 24, 22
2. Touch wall squats R 22, 23
3. Sumo push ups 13, 13 (did these modified)
4. jump lunge 32, 38
5. Reverse push up 13, 13
Before the body rock I did 10 min Denise Austin kick boxing and then after i did 10 minutes of her retro aerobics....I need to do more cardio ..so ..I AM! emoticon

I liked this body rock a lot! Try it out!

I hope everyone is having a great evening..I'm too anxious to blog more so I'll let everyone know about the job situation tomorrow sometime! emoticon emoticon

Great work getting the job offer! Even if it doesn't work out, it should be a confidence boost that they chose you. Before I got my current job, I had an offer from another one that I wanted but had to turn it down because it was a temp position and I was saving for my wedding at the time. Then I got my job and it was perfect timing and I like it a lot!

It's always so hard to remember that kind of stuff when you are hoping so hard for something better to come through job-wise. Also, I could be wrong about this, but I don't think insurance companies are allowed to deny coverage based on pre-existing conditions anymore. Of course, you need health coverage with no lapses, but it might give you peace of mind in the future if an employer requires a waiting period or something.

And the weather in TN is shockingly, wonderfully, perfectly beautiful. It's hard to stay inside at all!

I hope the job situation works out for you!!!

Great BR stats! I haven't tried that one yet but I think it looks like a good one for today. One of the workouts I did this week was very similar according to comments, but the move are all different. Hmmm...Maybe I'm thinking of a different one!

Wow, congratulations! The weather here has been awesome too! Great for walking. I've been perusing the body rock website but I still feel pretty intimidated by it.

At least Kodi's school wasn't FARTHER! I bet that was quite the brisk 1.5mi walk! =p=p You're such a great momma to him Misty! =]

Also, WOOOOHOOOO! On hearing back from that job! That's the first step! But if it's meant to happen, it WILL, so hold on to knowing that and it will all turn out the way it is supposed to =]

And lastly, KILLER JOB on that bodyrock workout! That sounds like a really good one! I think it's interesting how she did all 6 rounds of each exercise back to back though before moving on to the next exercise... I would feel so fatigued after all those push ups back to back! (THEN AGAIN, with that thong workout yesterday I did like 12 rounds of moves with push ups! Ahhh! my arms were BURNIN!!!!!!!)

Keep up the awesome work Misty! And keep your head up! It will all work out the right way =]=] big hugs!!!

Congrats on the job offer - I hope the pay and benefits work out!! That's awesome!

And I hear you on the after-school pick-up issue. I'm currently living in an area where I have no family and have made a few friends, but I am the only person who can pick my son up. And there have been times when I am PANICKING because there's an accident or the roads are bad and I'm pushing the 6p.m. pick-up time. I definitely don't want to be paying $10 a MINUTE if I'm late!!

I am dreading this summer if it is this warm already!

I would suggest making a list of all the information you need to know to compare this job to your current one, so you don't forget anything and can make a fully informed decision.

Good luck!

My bf is a meteorologist. He said its unseasonably warm across the country.. With no cool air in sight. Said this has been the 3rd driest winter in all of recorded history.. And also said he was worried about the summer.. Could be VERY hot this summer :-/

Anyways... Congrats on the job!!!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you. Your right, it would not be reasonable for you to work the job w/o those things... And you should always at least make as much as you're making now.. Course you really should have asked about it in the interview- if they wouldn't hire you b/c you asked or b/c you make too much now, job's not worth it. Def find these things out before you sign on the dotted line :)

Good luck with the job info! I hope it's all good news!
Sometimes excitement makes you forget to ask things, that happened to me a lot and then I'd be like "YAY I WAS OFFERED A JOB!" and Dan would be like "Well, do they give you xyz?" And I'd be like uhhhhhh idk. lol

It's been beautiful here in Central NY! We've been leaving the door open at work and everyone and their mom wants ice cream =-P

And reading your workout, I just want to say... I HATE JUMP LUNGES. lol

Good luck lady!

I hope it turns out to be perfect for you! Can you get COBRA for your old insurance to cover you until the new one kicks in? I know it's expensive, but if the job is worth switching to in all the other respects, I believe COBRA will cover you for three or six months. Cant' remember which - it's been a long time since I worked for Blue Cross. I hope it kicks in right away though!! I've got my fingers crossed for you.
