The "Tone It Up" diet plan?

Hello!
This is the last week of my P57 challenge, and I am still LOVING this workout. I think next month I am going to do a P57, Insanity, Body Rock mash up. I like the intensity of the HIIT intervals, but I love the toning affects of barre workouts.

(did the breakin' a sweat work out 22:45, elevated pushup killed me)

I have to admit I am somewhat frustrated with my body right now. I seem to be stuck at a MAJOR plateau. I know I have the work out part down so logically the only thing that I need to fix is my diet. I must be in denial about my diet because I really thought I was pretty health eater but like I said my body doesn't lie and this plateau is a clear red flag that I am doing something wrong. I'm frustrated because I can see my body changing I can see lines forming but it's stuck under this layer of fat that I just can't get rid of!

I ran across another sparker's page awhile ago talking about the Tone It Up program. It is ran by these two girls who are pretty awesome that give out diet and exercise tips, they have this whole fantastic community of follower that just adore them, and honestly the more I tune in the more I adore them also. They pretty much give you everything for free but they do have the "Tone It Up Diet Plan" that they sell for a one time price of $150 which they say is the same as a single training session with one of them. The reason I say one time payment is because they are constantly giving you updates to the program and this is for life.

I'm not going to lie I'm pretty intrigued by this diet plan because like I said before I'm not doing too hot on the diet aspect of this weight loss journey. There are normal people out there that have had phenomenal results with this plan, I think it is pretty much introducing you to clean raw eating. The $150 is a pretty heavy price but I guess if I were to look at the money I have spent in the past on workouts and so on it's not a lot. If anyone is interested they have a great facebook community with a lot of motivating stories!

    I bought the diet plan. I really like it and it's a fun community of women. There are updates to the plan often and even skinny cocktail recipes. My only issue with Tone It Up is that these are single, childless women that live in sunny California where the weather is conducive to working out and where organic, healthy food is readily available. The girls are a little out of touch for the rest of us who have normal lives and face real challenges.

    Looks very interesting to say the least. I'm having the same results as you and have been for the past 12 months really. I too get to a certain weight, training is great and there is tone underneath, but there's this pesky layer of fat that isn't going anywhere.... More consistency needed? I'm always open to diet approaches and plans to follow, I'd be very interested if you found anyone who had done the tone it up.

  Great job on your workout plan - sounds like you are busting your butt, girl!

I've frequented the Tone It Up website for new recipes and I like seeing their blog. They definitely live a healthy lifesytle and have the results to show for it. My only concern about any of these prepared diet plans is that - it's unrealistic to maintain these 'diets' after a certain period of time. Not sure how the TIU plan works, but still $150 is kind of steep.

The only thing that's worked for me in the past is tracking my calories and balancing that with my calories burned from working out.

It's also good to switch out your workouts. I try to do something different every time I exercise but I've heard that if you're doing the same thing for 6 weeks - it's time for change, even if it means just increasing the intensity.

    I've been following them for awhile as well, but never bought the diet plan. I have also heard a lot of success from the diet and it seems like the girls give a lot of great support. If you do end up trying this, let us know how it goes! Hearing feedback from a fellow Sparker may just convince me to try it as well! :D

    Hey Tay :) I love the Tone it Up YouTube channel. The workouts and tips and stuff are good and they are so cute, aren't they? I'm sure the diet plan is great, but personally not only do I not have the money, but I rather enjoy the trial and error that goes into finding out what kind of diet works for me. :) Let me know if you try it and how you like it.
