I did 3.2 miles for the first time this weekend. This included the 5 min warm up and cool down- but I was super excited that the elusive 5K wasn't impossible. I was at about 2.8 miles before my cool down, and as I got closer to 3miles halfway through the cool down I realized that I could reach 3.2 if I ran. I sprinted around my block rejoiced when I met my goal.
I always thought I didn't have time to work out because it would inconvenience my family, but they have been really supportive through all of it. I even got them out to exercise with me on Sunday. I ran at the metroparks and my husband and stepson rode their bikes. It was great to be active as a family.
