New cookbook

New Spark people Cookbook just came in the mail. Very excited!
I am hopeful it helps me to be healthier and realize WHY to spite other efforts I am still not loosing weight????

    Hi, I just "met" you on the cookbook team. If you are needing to lose a smaller amount of weight, be encouraged. You can do it! By some of the comments of others who have a lot of weight to lose, it seems that those who have less to lose have a harder time losing. It takes a lot of dedication and focused efforts. I am down to my last 10 pounds (I had about 25 to lose at the start of March/2012), so in 4 months I have lost about 15 pounds. It sounds slow, but it came with some great new habits as well. These habits involve both food and exercise. Sometimes I lose 2 pounds in a week, other times I stay at the same weight for a few weeks at a time. I have learned to stay optimistic whichever situation I'm in, confident that over time I will lose all the weight I need to.
I am also confident that YOU can do it! If I can do it you can do it! Make some short term and some long term goals. Tell a friend and keep accountable for your daily health decisions. You WILL gradually lose the weight you need to lose, and your body will thank you! All the best!

    SP is a great site and it has so much information for you to learn from. Don't become overwhelmed with it, just take it a step at a time.
