Joy. Pete headed back to Miami this morning for his "5th This is the last week", week. So I've been up since 5:30. Heather has an appointment at 10, I have to stop and pick up the deposit from the black truck we going to buy but they sold to someone else, the point of us leaving a deposit was so they the WON'T sell it to someone else duh! Not really caring because I didn't really like that truck anyway. I have to pick up my mom so she can take her car back, I had to borrow it until Pete fixed the brakes on the Tahoe so I could drive it and be able to stop. I think that's an important aspect of a vehicle, working brakes.
TOM showed up yesterday. Woo hoo. My cup runith over.
So I've been listening to Chakra chants and other "meditative" music by Jonathan Goldman and Full Spectrum Sound Healing by Alex Theroy, and Self-Healing With Sound & Music Andrew Weil, M.D. & Kimba Arem.
I have them on my iPhone and computer and listen to them every day, especially the Chakra chants, he has a 7-minute tune up one that is great if you don't have time for the entire thing.
They are great to listen to while doing anything because you can either focus on them or just listen to them while walking, doing email whatever.
I really believe they have helped me calm down and be able to focus better. I don't feel so stressed out and I'm not getting as angry as I usually do over things. I almost feel like before my strokes when I had so much patience and just had a "whatever man" attitude about things. I'm not freaking out as much and I really like it.
Oh I tried to give blood Friday, but my iron was a point to low, but my son gave a pint.
Then Sunday the bus was at Walmart so me and daughter stopped in, my iron is still to low, I started taking my iron pills again. I'm sure TOM is not helping. But the daughter gave a pint and we got tee-shirts, I love getting tee-shirts!
So I will wait a week and see how my iron is then. I couldn't give but my kids did, I'm so proud of them!
Eating is actually going great. I don't know what the deal is but lately I really have to watch what I'm eating or I end up in the bathroom. I had my gallbladder out last April, I thought food issues were done with but I guess not. a lot of dairy, especially American cheese is off the menu! Mozzarella seems OK, Greek yogurt OK, I stopped drinking milk and drink the Silk almond milk, boy is that delicious!
I brought some Beano, will see if that helps.
So off to shower. I will see if I can get in a couple miles today.
