Smashing through 300 lbs

After 5 days in hospital the doctor finally "gave in" and sent me home last night saying that every test since last Wednesday had come back perfectly fine.

I have to have an angiogram Wednesday to make sure the "plumbing" is all good and apart from taking my meds (seems sensible right?) and taking it eaasy for a few weeks I should be back in form soon.

Got back to "fat camp" today and had my first weigh in since I started (2 weeks) and have lost 8.1 kilos or just on 18 pounds which brings me in at 291 lbs so I was VERY excited considering I was really only exercising for 1.5 weeks not 2.

Masses of exercise and eating healthy equals solid weight loss - magic it seems :)

Of course I will nt be able to exercise like this all the time but it shows me I CAN and has gotten me past my fear of not being able to exercise because I was too big.

And if I HAVE to have a heart arrhythmia I would much rather have it because I was exercising too hard and not taking my meds rather than walking upstairs and having a heart attack after a box off donuts!

Lesson learnt and feeling VERY positive about the future.

Sydney City to Surf in August...MAYBE I can !

P.S. I have to say the human body is just incredible on how it can bounce back no matter what punishment you give it. I feel very lucky to have finally found that out.
