This is the quilt that came of the blocks I made where I asked for opinions from my Spark Friends. It's called Pizzaz. It is one of the first that I've quilted on my machine (I've done almost all hand quiting up to this point). I enjoyed making this, and I really learned a lot. It came out nice, so I submitted it to our quilt guild to be auctioned off with the proceeds going to our local hospice.

Thank you to all who so willingly gave me your opinions. I value all your ideas and appreciate you all so much! I hope you like my decisions and the finished quilt.

Wow, Karla! It is beautiful! I love the colors and the pattern. You are so talented. How are you liking you machine to quilt on? You obviously have gotten the hang of using the machine. emoticon

I like how the border seems to grab the colors and makes the bright ones pop! Nice job! Very scrappy and artsy!

Karla, I LOVE how your quilt turned out!!! GOOD WORK!!! I LOVE the blue! Lots of times it's hard to envision, but then when you pick a sashing color, it pulls it all together. Keep up the good work!! Did you quilt it on your regular machine? Or do you have a big frame and fancy quilting machine? I just got a frame /machine last summer. Life got in the way-- so I haven't used it much YET, but I'm going to! Honestly, I could make hundred's of those and never get all my scraps used-- that's not counting all my stash!!! Yikes! I'm in trouble! But I have gotten 3 quilt tops pieced this winter, with 3 more in the works. I need my DH to quit taking me on all those trips, I'm perfectly happy being home and sewing emoticon
Take care!

That looks great with the navy sashing! I had pictured white, but this is much better. Someone will sure enjoy this.

And you got practice on your machine, too! WELL DONE, Karla!
