Gaining Weight

Sunday, March 11, 2012

So, last time I posted I was within a pound of my goal weight. I have now put 15 lbs back on and am feeling very frustrated with myself. Dealing with family and job stresses as well as financial stresses. So busy, there is not a whole lot of time for excercise. My question is, how do I force myself to make the right food choices? Daytime is okay, because, as a kindergarten teacher I am constantly busy. When I come home is the issue. I munch all evening on bad foods! Any suggestions would be appreciated! emoticon

Track it all. I have to count every bite or I risk believing the little lies I tell myself. If I see it adding up on my nutrition tracker, I have a much harder time deciding to put that next bite in my mouth. It's mostly in the math (you know how my mind works). 3,500 calories to loose a pound. I have to have 4 hard days at the gym AND a 300 calorie/day deficit in order to loose my goal of 1.5lbs/week. I know the crazy stress you're under and there isn't time for you to hit the gym 4 days a week. You have the strength that this takes, though! Keep healthy low cal snacks around and keep making those good choices! You CAN do it! If I can, I KNOW you can! emoticon

Maybe you should eliminate all the "bad foods" in your home and get fruits and veggies to snack on. WW has lots of calorie controlled desserts that you would like.
I like WW fugsicles and Skinny Cow treats.
Another good idea would be string cheese and a few crackers with grapes.
Get the bad stuff out of the house!
This is a suggestion only. Just trying to help.
