I started this program on March 5th - the day after my birthday! Just what I needed to kick my bootay with after all the cake I ate!
The weights workouts for phase 1 have made me sore! I was surprised as I've been working out hard for a bit over a year now, and doing a lot of her videos. But ow! Especially my triceps and chest area. I've been using 10 pound weights, but for a couple exercises, like chair lifts, I have to use 7s.
After doing her weights workouts I do a TurboFire HIIT, usually 25 minutes, or like last night, I did 30 minutes of a kickboxing DVD. Tonight is cardio 1, and I'll do it twice in a row.
I'm really hoping this program helps with my last pounds I want to get off. As soon as I hit 134 my weight loss SCREECHED to a halt! This is my first real plateau, so I am thankful it didn't happen until a year in, but still. It sucks! I finally lost 1 pound over these past two weeks, so I'm down to 12-17 pounds left to go.
And I'm starving. All the time. YEP! Never was hungry until recently. I think my body's had enough of this cutting calories.
