Eat less, exercise more

Friday, March 09, 2012

I read a GREAT article this morning about obesogens. What is that? You'll have to read the article.

Have a great weekend. Any thoughts and prayers for me on Sunday will be appreciated for my St. Paddy's 5K.

...and I read the article and totally agree - unfortunately all that confusing stuff has influeced me - I shy for avocados and after all that glycemic index I think badder about carrots than I should.

But even though I agree that it is calories in and calories out I have found that some food is harder for me to handle, and some patterns of eating also makes it harder to tick to my plan.

But I agree - to me all those theories has created a lot of cobwebs in my brain that stops me from focusing on eating less and exercising more...

I'll be running in the Shamrock Run in Portland OR next Sunday. The keys to ours is to race at your ability level (15k, 8k, 5k, and 5k 'stride'), dress up silly and HAVE FUN!!
And speaking of fun... This video always makes me laugh!!
