Well, I was doing really well this week.
I had one day I went over my calorie range but I was actually over my fitness minutes for the week so I had balance. My runs were going great and I was really into the CORE challenge and the Burpee challenge.
I woke up yesterday with a severe sore throat. I was thinking allergies so I went to work. It persisted all day, even through my workout. I got home last night, ate dinner and decided to go to bed early.
I woke up several times in the middle of the night - stuffy, hot, couldn't breathe through my nose. Yup - I'm sick. I am really mad because 2 weeks ago, I was laid low with the flu. I cannot even tell you last time I was sick - let along two times in 3 weeks. Now, I did visit with my nieces both times the previous Sunday, but I am not sure if that is where I got it from.
Am I over training? I don't think so. Is it the change in weather? maybe. All I know is I have 3 miles to do today and I am not sure if I will do it or not. We shall see how I feel and if this headache ever goes away.
Even if I don't work out, I still can stay within my ranges. When I'm sick I am usually not hungry so hopefully i will hit the minimum.
