...to Spring Break next week! I'm not going anywhere exciting, or even going home. But I'm really looking forward to the great weather, spending some time with friends, and having the whole apartment to myself. This week has flown by, fortunately. I have one more exam before I'm pretty much done. Then I have a bazillion shifts at work before the dining courts close (got to get some extra cash in my pocket). Then time to relax.
I think relaxation is something I need. I have been kind of stressed, unmotivated, and unhappy lately. I think the grind of school and work have been getting me down, and a break will help. My eating habits haven't been perfect, and I'm hoping that a nice relaxing week will bring everything back into balance and get my weight loss rolling again.
Also, this is a little weird, but I get SO HUNGRY right before my period. It's not stress eating and I don't get emotional...I just get major hunger pains unless I eat a lot more than usual. It's frustrating.
This week, I...
- played a game of Humans vs. Zombies! We hosted an invitational. It was a good way to get some exercise, make new friends, and have a good time.
- survived exams (although not as well as I'd have liked)
- worked out regularly.
- made healthier choices at restaurants.
- discovered a grocery store that is local and much closer to my apartment than Walmart. I'm excited to go shopping!
So being busy has made it tough to stay on track, but I'm doing my best, and I'm fine with that.
