I've been having Chris Downie moments... Some cute things have happened to me recently. My boss is trying to loose weight for a special event and came to me asking about "that website you do". Then my other coworker who sits directly next to me has been making an effort to loose and eat healthier. She hinted that I inspired her to do it. And thirdly I was working at the receptionist desk the other day. Since it's mostly private and unseen by everyone except when you first come in I decided to do some light strength training exercises. One of the other ladies came over to say hello and then later a second so the three of us started exercising together. They were getting a kick out of doing exercises I was doing. So we agreed that everyday at 4 we would meet in the reception area to do 10 minutes of some basic exercises: calf rocking, leg adduction, leg abduction, squats, leg lifts, stranding hamstring curls, wall push ups and anything that you can generally do in an office without weights. I was there a 4 today but one of the ladies was out and the other wasn't feeling up to it, so the plan didn't work out today. But I plan to stick to this everyday at 4 plan for the days I'm in the office whether they go along with it or not. We've had a lot of negativity in the office lately so it seems like a great plan to turn lemons into lemonade.
