.....since my last blog entry. I figure blogging will hold me accountable for my choices.
This week I have made a few changes. Some are better then none and I'm tired of not feeling like I have no control over my eating situation. I know it can be done, it's BEING done all around me, so what is my problem?? ME!!! Dr. Wayne Dyer has a book called "Excuses Be Gone". I need to walk around with that book in my hands 24/7. He also have a book that I am currently reading called "Change Your Thought's - Change Your Life" well Spark fam that's exactly where I am right now in my life. Thinking different and living different. There's a saying that people LOVE to quote, "when you know better, you do better." And that's simply not true for alot of people. Well I'm trying to make it true for ME. I know what it takes to lose weight, I know what I need to do if I want a better quality of life, a better paying job, and whatever else I THINK I need.
So this week my committment for myself is this:
* Increasing my water intake, BACK to at least 8/8 oz glasses of water a day and green tea;
* Some form of working out, even if it's jumping jacks, squats, push ups and crunches. I can do SOMETHING;
* Reduce portion size;
* Decrease and monitor my sugar intake (need to get some honey for work);
* Use my food journal.
So for now, those are my committments. And I will be successful!!
My affirmation:
I have in me all that I need to reach my goals.
