Halfway to First Goal!

I've been meaning to write this since last week. Thursday is my weigh-in day in the nutrition class I'm taking. As of March 1, I am down 15 pounds since January 1! That is halfway to my goal of an initial 30 pound weight loss. I need to lose a whole lot more than that, but I decided that saying I need to lose 100+ was too daunting a task. I'm going at it 30 pounds at a time because that is more feasible and easier a goal to set/reach. I have also lost 8.75 inches total in different areas of my body. I don't see it when I look in the mirror but I can tell in my clothes. It was also nice on Friday night when a friend I haven't seen in over a month commented that, "You look like you've lost weight!" Music to my ears. :)
