Been sick getting, zero energy went to Virginia, dog has glaucoma

Monday, March 05, 2012

Two Fridays ago we flew to Virginia to pick up our new Tahoe, well its used but new to us. We brought it from a Ford dealer. Drove it home, about 800 miles. Husband took it to where our nephew works at a tire place and put it on a lift. What a mess. something to do with cross members, I don't know, I had to take it to a couple collusion places to get it looked at, apparently it had a bent frame. The Carfax report did not mention it, said it had been in an accident but nothing about the frame being bent.

My husband had to get back to work in Miami, I had to get the reports to send to the Ford dealer we brought it from so they would refund our money. So this truck is sitting in the front, I'm waiting for a check, then they are sending someone to get the truck because I'm nor driving it back!

My husband is so pissed off at the dealership for even letting us drive off the lot with it. The idiot who sold it to us said "Oh well we really didn't get a chance to inspect it..."

So, stay clear of Kip Killoman's Tyson Ford Vienna Virginia!
I really hope he sent a refund because otherwise its going to be really annoying to get our money back.

So on top of all this I've been sick with a really annoying cough, zero energy, like zilch. Today was the first day I was able to actually not feel like death.

Oh yeah, found out the dog has glaucoma. He has it in his left eye. He also had an ulcer and a cataract in the left eye. So 3 vet visits and $600 dollars later *sigh* he's doing much better. Tomorrow I take him for blood work for a "tick" panel" to see if its caused by a tick bite. He was on a lot of medication the first week to get the pressure down. Right now its drops 4 times a day. The ulcer is gone and he's looking a lot better. It hurt to pay out that much but we love him, not much else I could do other then let him go blind. I am just thankful we had the money to do it. Of course there were many other things I needed but they will wait, he could not. We did purchase the Banfield pet insurance so we saved about $800 dollars but there's 40 dollars a month for the next year.

So I went to the gym as my son's guest. Did 3 miles on the treadmill in 60 minutes. I needed a kick to get back to walking after being sick and running around to the vet & car places.
I vacuumed the house and washed the floor too. Its so nice not to feel dead!

Oh Cheryl - That's horrible about the car. I really hope that guy works with you on that and you don't have to wait too long for that check.

Take care of yourself with that cough. It's good that you did a bit on the treadmill. Hopefully it will boost your immune system a bit and kick that cough.

Stay strong, keep sparking!

Nancy
