not from trying to lose weight, not even intentionally from spark, but a hiatus nonetheless.
It's been challenging trying to fit everything in to my new schedule.. mainly because I don't really have a schedule yet. I've just completed about 5 weeks of student teaching and after state testing for the kiddos next week I'm going into my intensives. I leave for school at 6am and most nights don't get home until about 7pm or later...thanks to the hour long commute and lack of a schedule.
Hey I'm not complaining.. this is just the way it is.
I need a routine.
My good friend's nephew passed away after fighting osteoscaroma for 3 years. He spent nearly his entire high school career fighting a horrible disease. While I'm glad he is finally at rest, my heart breaks for his family's loss.
Dad's tumors keep shrinking. But mom & I spent more time in the emergency room where we found she had a mini stroke. She is fine and it doesn't not appear to have done any permanent damage. They both take a lot of care these days.
Again I'm not complaining I just need to get a routine in place.
I'm working on it. Weight loss is still happening. I'm averaging about 1/2 a pound per week. I'm going at a snails pace but you know.. it's better than gaining or even stayin in place. I'll take it! I'm at about 20lbs lost since starting ww. While I wish it was more, and know that once I can get my diet & exercise back control, it will get better. For now I'll take what I can get. :)
