About three weeks ago I joined the gym very near where I work (5 min. walk) and got the "early bird" membership, which means I can go anytime between 5 am and 10:30 am, Monday thru Friday. I got it primarily to have a place to walk during the winter AND to get myself there in the morning - I make too many excuses later in the day. (Plus it's a lot cheaper than a full membership!) Right after joining I made it there two days in a row, and then I got the worst cold, with coughing, that lasted a good two weeks. Today was my day to get back to the gym, and I dragged myself there at 9:40 am (from my office), and walked 30 minutes on the track (plus the five minutes there and back, in the snow no less!). I feel good now for having done it, and I do feel invigorated and able to continue with work now. I am tired of skipping over the "track exercise" button on this website!
