I am still gung ho to lose weight, but I am hungrier. Plus, I am in a food rut. The low calorie foods I have counted on to fill me up are no longer in season, such as spagetti squash. I have cought myself mindlessly munching. Snacks are an issue. The 100 calorie packs of cookies are so good, that I just want more. All of this adds up to a stall in weight loss.
So, to combat this slow down in weight loss, I have printed out new recipes, some from SP and some from other sites. Each week we will try at least 2 new recipes. My husband and I walk every single day and we are walking faster to see if we can beat our times. The few times he had to work late I went without him and ran for very short bursts through out the 3 mile walk.
As for snacks, they are my problem area. Apples are a favorite and I start with an apple every day for snack. And...that's good, but it does not always fill me. So then I get baked chips, or almonds, or rasins, or, or, or. This is my downfall and I will work harder on it. I do keep a wrtten food diary as well as the one on SP. I have gone back and looked at what I was eating when the weight was easier to come off...but my will is not as resolute as it was. I will not give up.
