Amazing Moment...reaching my first goal!!!

Saturday, March 03, 2012

One week from my weigh in for my BIG challenge out of the corner of my eye I caught my goal weight for that day!!! Amazing!!! I met it!!! This was a BIG moment in my life because I can not remember meeting a weight goal ever in my life.

The first BIG challenge my Dad gave me was at 22 years old. I entered a local beauty pageant with a cousin and Dad told me that I could not walk across the stage unless I was 125 pounds. The day of the pageant wearing a size 6 I had to still weigh in. I worked out, sat in the sauna for an hour and still the scale read 132. I had to rig it to meet my Dad's goal. Um YA!!!

As I recorded my food, water and exercise for the day I saw my goal weight written on the side of the date. I had met it!!! What a satisfying feeling! I really made a goal that I set out to achieve...let me say that again.

It is a goal I set for MYSELF and met it!!! It was not my Dad's goal or anyone else' was MINE!!!

The weight is waving good-bye at a great pace. I will most likely reach the HAWAII 30 pound challenge and will have a lot of active fun when I am there!!!

Glory be!!! Thank you GOD!!!
