Oh, the joy of a new month! Time to put away the rest of
the Valentines candy, toss the dead flowers and look
ahead to spring. Yes, I do know we have St. Patrick's
Day first. Green beer, anyone?
Next will be DS's 18th birthday. Yeah, my baby will
get to celebrate in high style. Mom just has to throw
the party together so that will take a little planning.
He is going to Disney World with a friend and his
parents. They fly out of Omaha in the morning and
return Tuesday night. Lucky kid!
As for me, I am getting back on track. Lenten soup
supper was delicious but I decided it was a good
thing it was only once a week.
We will have GS tomorrow and Sunday. Mom and Dad
are going to a Guard Dining Out and he is so excited
to stay with us. I want to bake cinnamon rolls and
bread tomorrow. I have plenty to keep me busy with
a 5 year old LOL!
Tonight we are dining out ourselves. The bar has
the weekly fish fry and the walleye is excellent. I have
been holding back today so I can enjoy tonight. Does
that sound like a plan or what?
Plan ahead and avoid the madness that sets in when
you let yourself go off the deep end with snacking or
lack of activity. You have the tools so use them to your
advantage. Why pay the price of stress when you
can avoid it with healthy choices?
