Trying to get to the next 10's digit...

I almost always happens when I'm trying to lose weight. I get to the 0's of a 10's digit, then go up one to two pounds, then back down to the 0 point something. It's such a struggle for me no matter what the tens digit. Earlier this week, I was down 6 whole pounds.. Yeah me... but it was 0.6. I was up 2 pounds the next day - admittedly my own fault. It started with a trip to Fuddruckers which wasn't bad until I ate the roll - both sides. THEN, there was the necessary trip to Walmart with my husband. Somehow, he ended up with jelly beans. I just LOVE jelly beans. I didn't get this way from eating fruits and vegetables, ya know! It was horrible. I just couldn't stop. I loved them... I even ended up with a sugar belly! That didn't even stop me!
So now I'm back down a little... down to 1.6. There's less than 2 pounds to get to the next 10's. I can taste it! Oh, that's not a really good term when we are all trying to watch what we eat.
To make everything even harder, it's my oldest daughter's 21st birthday next week. I'm driving into Boston to pick her up for the weekend. We have to have cake! Oh come on!! I just need to get to the next 10's!!!
