Small Changes Can Lead To Big Results

I belong to a team (50's/60's Savvy,Sexy and Sensational) started a Personal Challenge the middle of February. Each member states their personal challenge, reports their progress, ask for support and celebrate success. There is no start or finish date other than those determined by the member. Other members can watch the progress, be inspired, offer support/suggestions and celebrate with their team members.

I made no progress in February. emoticon I do know why. Life got very hectic with fun stuff and stressful events-- longer work hours with more stressful work days, more routine annual Dr Appointments etc etc etc.
I did not derail but did get sidetracked and the progress stalled.

As of yesterday March 1 had to make a start to get back on track. I knew I could not take a big step to a full routine as I will be out of town all day Sat and Sun taking a Cont Ed Course with 9 hours of class a day and a 3 hr drive a day.(after this life should settle down some. I would only be discouraged with unreasonable expectations.

So All I focused on was getting back to healthier eating. Did not exercise, did not follow the rest of my routine, just tried to be more aware of what I was eating. The big result was that I weighed andactually lost 1 pound.

So do not dismiss that small changes can lead to good things

    Life just dies have a way of throwing curveballs in even the best of intentions, but at least maintaining SOME of the healthy habits is good. You can do it! It will take a little time to get back on track, but you'll get there.
