Long week. So happy we hit the end of it so I can get a little relax time. But those who know me- do not allow too much time for that but will try... Today- working, then I think we are going sledding after school. I may meet them on wherever they go. Tomorrow running on the Boston Marathon course- training run that I am using for the New Bedford Half Marathon- which is coming up in three weeks. GULP. I had a tough 10 mile outing so I really want to prepare myself for this one. I know that we have a couple of major hills on this so I want my body to be ready. Weight- was down 159 flat. WOOO. I did some measurements too- waist and hips were down as was chest. Biceps up 1 inch- 12s both sides. Also my quads were up 2 inches? Weird. Calf was 15 - same. So overall improving, but still know I have to curtail my damn carb snack attacks I get. Need more protein. I made a delish spinach and chicken casserole with a side of baked asparagus. The casserole - not sure calories- the magazine did not have them but I used lowfat sourcream, 2% milk, chicken, spinach, - white bread- bad- but it was used as crumbs on top, and egg noodles. I had probably 2 cups of that- so a lot I know, but ate decent during the day. It was SO good. The kids did not like it. I got the recipe from Real Simple. I think I will see if their site has the nutritional value somewhere? Anyway be good!
