Okay. Well, I’m actually already 3 days into week 2 but this is the first chance I’ve had to reflect and share my results. (My house is a mad house right now… My son turned 4 on Leap Day so my parents and siblings have been running in and out…)
So anyway, after my first week with Jillian’s new program I am down 5 whole pounds!!! That’s right. 5! I was shocked to say the least. I average 1-2 pounds per week but I guess this is the jump start I needed. Again, I am NOT following her diet plan, just the workout schedule. (But, on a side note… I DID eat in the low range for my calories all week except for Sunday.)
Here was how week one went:
Tuesday: Phase One Workout 1 (Strength: Front of Body)
Wednesday: Phase One Workout 2 (Strength: Back of Body)
Thursday: Phase One Cardio (20 Minutes of Aerobic Style Exercises)
Friday: Phase One Workout 1 (Strength: Front of Body)
Saturday: Phase One Workout 2 (Strength: Back of Body)
Sunday: Phase One Cardio (20 Minutes of Aerobic Style Exercises)
You have the option to do “Extra Credit” Cardio Workouts but, I’ve been busy on and off all week remodeling my laundry room so I haven’t done any. (Painting, Scraping Floors, Moving Washers and Dryers, etc… I figure that in itself is some Extra Credit working out!)
I am still feeling very motivated about my program and this week I am working on my “Vision Board”. I’ve purchased the foam board and I’ve started cutting out motivational pictures and quotes to put on it. I will probably start pasting them tonight as a matter of fact. The board is very light and manageable so my plan is to put it up on the mantle while I’m working out. It will be right in front of my face motivating me to push a little harder during each workout. I will let you know how it works out with my next update.
