March 1 2012 Goals

Thursday, March 01, 2012

Ok I've been on and off sparkpeople now for nearly 4 years. I've finally come to the realization that I need to stay here and get the motivation & support to stay on track. I've been trying to lose 25lbs since I started back in April 2008. The good news is I haven't gained any addition weight.

Today I'm starting over.

My goals for March are:
* lose 8 lbs

* complete a 5k

* Eat more Fruits and Vegetables & less meat

* Work out 5 days a week
minimum of 3 days of cardio and 2 days strength training.

* track my meals & exercise here every day.

* post a blog at least onece a week.

* I joined a challegne in one of my spark teams.

I know I can do this I just have to stick with it.

    You can do it, Sherri! I'm going to get back into this, too. I have about 35 lbs to lose now. I haven't been doing much about it lately. I joined WW, but I think I'm going to come back to this instead. Take care and stay positive!

    Great goals and you can do it! But a goal without an action plan is just a wish! I know you have a plan; write it down, check things off, be accountable to yourself! There's great satisfaction in checking off your goals at the end of the day! Check out my blog on my first 5K last weekend. We had a great time! I'm a walker and really enjoyed it!!

    I'm kinda in the same boat as you; although I have been trying to lose weight for years, I have been at the same weight for about 15 months. It's great that youhave very specific goals; I think you can do it!
