The Road to Better Health

I know this is not much of a streak, but every streak starts somewhere, right?
Okay, here is my streak. For four days I have done a 20-25 minute walk (hike) followed by 30-40 minutes of yoga! Like I said, it's not much of a streak, but I am feeling the results already. No more achey muscles keeping me awake at night, no more dragging myself out of bed at night to stretch so I can sleep. Also, the elbow that's been bothering me is feeling less achey and less stiff. It is a good feeling to be taking an active role in my imediate health. The hike is great cardio, with the added bonus of a chance to de-stress and work out issues needing my mental attention; the yoga helps any muscle tension to dissipate, and restore flexibility, reducing risk of injury during cardio. :)
Now to go and keep that streak going! I know it won't be "every day, no matter what", but if I can do that at least 5 days a week, long term, I know I will improve my long term health as well.
