Induction Day 9: 239.8

Yesterday, I think having salt on my green beans was the reason at 10 p.m., that I stepped on my scale and it read the same EXACT weight as in the morning. I was up and down all night using the bathroom, and did my hour walk at the gym. It is pouring rain out. I came home, and weighed in 239.8.. my goal for February was to get into the 250's. I just looked back in my blogs, and I was 266 on February 12 th. So I am down 26 lbs since then. I was a little worried that I was dehydrated, or since I woke up late, I just got home from gym, and because of these reasons, I am lighter, and setting myself up for a small loss, or gain tomorrow, as I drink water. However, I am taking it ..230's!!

My foot feels awesome! I talked with the lady who runs the Amish store yesterday, and she had a toe dislocate because of her gout. Ouch! I hope that can be avoided I am 19 lbs from my recent low of 221 from late spring last year. I am upping todays carbs to 25 net. This is a plan to slow down the weight loss, and maybe even it out too. Hoping this doesn't cause a gain tomorrow, but if it does, or NO loss, I am ready for that. I decided to alternate days of 25 net carbs, and 20 net carbs.. and next week 25 net carbs. If I do not lose tomorrow and start to whine, or think of quitting, please refer me to this blog to read my message to myself

lol. I also decided to not add new foods, just more of the veggies for now. So , I got my 60 minute walk in, gotta go to library, do laundry, and read some. Survivor tonight, and then hopefully my body does its job, and loses weight.

I remember the first time I did Atkins Induction.. I lost 25 in first 2 weeks, got down to 315. I was eating a dozen eggs for breakfast, and a family sized chicken thigh with skin package 10-12 each, one for lunch, one for dinner.. had to be around 5000 calories.. but I was 340, so I lost. I can't even imagine doing that, but except for this time, it was my most successful Induction ever. Probably because I didn't cheat, so technically, it might be the only 2 times I did Induction. I am thinking I have low metabolic resistance, and the lactose free cheese may be helping some. I do think that this time , except for the greens, I am following the basics of the diet correctly, and not gorging on protein, or calories, just to eat. Hopefully this is the last time I make pit stops at these locations of " my journey"..lol.. I hate that phrase.

Just adding more of the same foods sounds like a safe bet to me. Plenty of time to add variety later.
