Woke up this morning just feeling frustrated, etc.
with myself after looking at the scale. Instead of
losing I am gaining even though my clothes are feeling
loose. I have been exercising daily 30 mins and trying
so hard to watch what I eat. My legs swell up with
water don't know doesn't know why.
I cried for awhile not happy. I eat healthy alittle fruit
daily except I need to drink more water. You think doing
all of this the crazy scale would show weight loss.
Feeling very down right now and don't know what to do.

    Hi MOM195;

    Too much salt can retain water and you have to stay within your calories line. Yesterday I was at the bottom of it but a few days back I was at the top so it doesn't matter. But I watch my sodium intake andmake sure I stay on top of that. Keep doing what you are and if the legs keep swollening the Doc is going to have to find out why. God bless you always .

    I think BPOTTS291 found the answer in your Nutrition Tracker. You are eating too little and your body thinks it's starving. Try to eat within your suggested calorie range and run your Nutition Report Daily.

    If you're legs are swelling with water it's probably water weight gain. Try to focus on how you feel and how your clothes are fitting.

    Hang in there. I have to agree with Tony --don't allow the scale to be your judge of how you look or feel --are you taking measurements or seeing a difference in how you clothes fit --the scale can really be depressing. Make sure you are getting @ least 8 cups of water daily & watching your sodium intake, especially in the processed foods.

    Just keep moving forward, this phase shall pass.

    Hi, I looked at your food log. You need to add more calories. Your body thinks its starving so it won't give up the weigh. I know it sounds crazy but you have to eat to loose wt and be healthy. Hope this helps. emoticon

    Hello Spark Friend! Can I give you a piece of advice? Please throw your scale out. From what I read you are doing everything right. Really, you are!! If your clothes are loose fitting then you are losing inches. That scale is no good & will mess with your mind. Not sure why the fluid gain in your legs but you & your doctor will get to the bottom of that. Please don't be upset & cry. Don't beat yourself up cause you are remarkable & you are truly doing what it takes to reach your goals. And you will!!!! emoticon
