Day One - Not so bad.

Tuesday, March 20, 2007

I have actually made it thru day one.

I failed to do the strength exercises planned for today. But I did get in a 15 minute walk during lunch at work. I'm gonna have to find 10 minutes at a time to get in the strength exercises planned.

Now, speaking of those, why is it on the instructions they just assume I have a "step" base lying around my apartment??? I do have resistance bands and I checked those off when asked, but I have no step and several of the SR exercises are shown using a step???

I'll work on that later.

Anyway, after logging in all my food for the day, including snacks, every bite, I found myself under the minimum allowance by over 200 calories! Well, I still have some icecream in the freezer and one serving of that brought me to the minimum, AND I can have a small glass of wine before bed and still be under the maximum! I slightly lowered the minimum and maximum calories suggested, but not by too much. I didn't want to give myself too much rope to hang myself with, and with my food choices - I'm gonna be under the minimum most days anyways.

Oh! eating that ice cream was a NSV for me! I actually measured out the half cup serving, and that is all I ate. I usually go back for seconds, thirds, etc. but did not tonight.

Well, that concludes day one. On to the next!
