Good Sunday Sparkfam! It's a beautiful day here in Chicago & got out to enjoy it a bit. Now I just got done cooking Sunday dinner. Baked chicken (yeah right like that's a surprise) mac& cheese, sweet potatoes, mustart greens, corn bread, turkey stuffing & chickne/beef enchiladas. What a meal! Now I need to control my emotions of thinking of when my mom used to cook these types of dinners for us. Although they were only served on special ocassions, I try to break them out every 3-4months for my family. The S-O-U-L food train & everybody has their own meal that brings them a few memories...

What are your trigger meals & how do you STAY in control of your emotions with every bite? lol I dive in with a forkful of this & spoonful of that with good intentions of stopping myself. Sometimes it works & well others its a BUST! lol HELP!!

    Glad u got to enjoy the weather Dee! It's beautiful here today adn I got to take Casey for a nice long walk! We really need to cook together girl!     Wow Dee I need to come over! lol I love to cook those types of meal. My grandmother would cook meals like that and they were wonderful every time. She passed in 98 & Fri the 24th was her birthday and she would have been 90. I have to watch cooking like that since its just me and my son and he works at BK on Sundays and cooking cornbread and left alone with it is dangerous. L made a pot of whole grain pasta with homemade sauce & ground turkey and it lasted and more left so I didn't have to cook. I added green peas and a fancy tortilla. Healthier than the cornbread. lol I do love me some cornbread. If I do cook a Big meal and overdo, I just add a good workout. Thanks for sharing! Thanks for your comments and support!     Im a stickler for measuring portions and no seconds allowed. Yep, I get out those measuring cups!
